Here is a transparencies wing tut I created in early March 2004

Now, I find it easier to use 3-d Crystal liquid instead of Fimo gel and I only do one side of the wing..the side with the wire. I think it secures the wire to the wing better than glue.

Here is a cello wing tut from  2005 using 3-d Crystal liquid. You can also do this with liquid clays and bake them. I now also use a soldering iron to make holes and detail edges. I also use Fantasy film  sometimes instead of cellophane.
